Terms of Use & Disclaimers
Last updated: 22 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the MEDEVO website and telehealth facilitation service. By using the service, you agree to them. These terms are general guidance and are not a substitute for the full agreements in the MEDEVO Regulatory & Legal Pack or for legal advice.
1. What MEDEVO is
MEDEVO provides technology and administrative facilitation only. It connects patients in Queensland with independent, AHPRA-registered medical practitioners and licensed partner pharmacies. MEDEVO does not prescribe, dispense, import, manufacture, store, or take title to any medicinal cannabis product, and does not direct any doctor's clinical practice.
2. No guarantee of a prescription
Whether a prescription is issued is a clinical decision made by an independent doctor after assessing you. MEDEVO does not guarantee any outcome, including whether a prescription will be issued. There are no quotas, commissions or incentives tied to prescribing.
3. Not medical or legal advice
Information on this website is general in nature and is not medical or legal advice. It does not replace a consultation with a qualified health professional. Always consult an independent doctor about your circumstances.
4. Not an emergency service
MEDEVO is not an emergency or urgent-care service. If you need immediate medical assistance, call 000 (triple zero) or go to your nearest emergency department.
5. Advertising
This website advertises a telehealth service in general terms only. It does not promote any specific therapeutic good, dosage, indication or "guaranteed script", and contains no consumer testimonials, in line with the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 and the National Law.
6. Driving & safety
In Queensland it is an offence to drive with any detectable THC in your system, even with a valid prescription. Medicinal cannabis may cause drowsiness and interact with other medicines. Follow the advice of your doctor and pharmacist regarding driving, workplace safety, drug testing and storage.
7. Eligibility
The eligibility questionnaire is a screening aid only and is not a diagnosis or a guarantee of suitability. Only Queensland residents aged 18 and over can currently proceed to book a consultation through the service.
8. Privacy
Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, MEDEVO's liability for the facilitation service is limited. MEDEVO is not liable for the clinical decisions of independent doctors or the dispensing acts of licensed pharmacies, which remain the responsibility of those parties.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
